Healthy Minds is a corporate delivery service we have started up, to provide lunches for neighbouring businesses. The name 'Healthy Minds' comes from our firm belief in healthy eating, and how feeling your body with the right food will help you achieve more, feel better and be motivated.
A few weeks ago we had an unveiling event for the new 2017 Triumph Bonneville Bobber, which they describe as "Brutally beautiful". The event was hosted with Fowlers and it was great to be a part of such a passion driven event that encompasses what Spoke & Stringer is all about, in search of adventure and a love for ride culture!
From humble beginnings, BSFF quickly became a massively successful and over subscribed event. In 2014 attendees from Cornwall, London, Wales and Devon joined a strong local contingent in Bristol’s iconic Cube Cinema. Then in 2015, organisers teamed up with Spoke & Stringer to make BSFF 2015 the largest surf event of its kind.
We’re catching up with the mind behind Spoke & Stringer’s unique cuisine. Head Chef Ewan Lindsay tells us what he’s been up to.
We teamed up with Wavelength magazine to launch their 245th issue our shop. We were lucky enough to have Matt Crocker, producer and director of The Endless winter (which featured Matt Corbett and Mark Harris and their obsession with waves through out England) speak to us about the sequel; The Endless Winter 2, about chasing surf from France to Spain then Portugal to Morocco.
You've probably walked into our shop and had a browse. We don't just sell clothing at our store, if you look around the cafe at Spoke & Stringer, there's a lot of artwork that hangs up on the walls. Oe of those artists is Martin Squires. We had a chance to catch up with his to talk about his artwork.
